Hello everyone and welcome BACK to my DFS likes of the week. Whether you won or lost in week 2, lets look forward to week 3 and win some money as I give you my favorite DFS plays for the weekend. Make sure to follow me @ezpolizzi_21 on twitter as well as my podcast page @JNJTalksports.

Quarterback:

Deshaun Watson- DraftKings– $6,100. FanDuel– $7,700

The minute Will Fuller suited up fully healthy in week 2, the rust was shaken off; and after an impressive week 2 game against a very competent Titans secondary, Watson looks to be a bargain for the time being. Watson completed 69% of his passes last week for 310 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 44 yards on the ground which seems to be his floor dating back to last year. The Giants haven’t given up a ton of points to the QB position to start out 2018. But with Olivier Vernon out again and Eli Apple out in week 3, I expect Watson and Company to take advantage of an under talented and depleted defense. The Giants did give up the most points to the position last year.

Extra:

Jimmy G: Not only is the man handsome, but so is this MATCHUP. The Chiefs have allowed an average of 34 points to the QB position through two weeks. Allowing over 900 yards and 6 touchdowns through the air. Jimmy G looked great last week throwing for 2 touchdowns and 202 yards. Despite the slow start to 2018, lets not forget he played the Vikings defense week 1. He’ll pay dividends this week.

Runningback:

Matt BreidaDraftKings– $5,400. FanDuel– $6,200.

I love me offensive stacks, so this week I’m providing a QB/RB stack with Matt Breida. Breida broke out last week, rushing for 138 yards on only 11 carries while adding 3 receptions on 4 targets. This 49ers offense goes up against this Chiefs defense that allows 37.7 points per game to the position through the first two weeks. Interesting enough, however, they’ve given up a total of 20 receptions for 242 yards and 1 touchdown to running backs through the first two weeks. Thats a total of 40.2 half PPR points which equates to 20.1 half PPR points being allowed, just through the air, to running-backs per game. The Chiefs have also allowed the most 20+ yard receptions to running-backs through two weeks.

Extra:

Corey Clement: I am not convinced Wendell Smallwood will eat SO MUCH into his workload, making Clement possibly the most under appreciated, underrated and biggest value in DFS plays this week. When Ajayi was spelled last week fighting the injuries, Clement saw 6 carries for 30 yards and 6 targets for 5 receptions and 55 yards. That’s on a limited workload where Ajayi was still active. Jay Ajayi will be ruled out this week along side with Darren Sproles. This is his backfield to lead with a GUARANTEED RB1 week! Especially with Carson Wentz coming back from an ACL injury, they’ll rely on this run and dump off game.

Wide Receiver:

Michael ThomasDraftKings– $8,900. FanDuel– $9,000.

Yes, I know, this isn’t a so called “value” pick, because of the draft price. But when I noticed that the price difference between FanDuel and DraftKings was only $100, I just had to get me some Michael Thomas this week. I don’t like to recommend the STUD players because you know more or less who’s worth paying up for. However, the Falcons allowed 57 points to Carolina’s WR’s last week and when you throw a monster like MT at them; whom by the way, has 28 receptions on 30 targets and 3 touchdowns on the season, the sky is the limit.

Extra:

Julio Jones: Where there’s a pricey WR you consider taking, there just as good of another for slightly cheaper. Jones is significantly cheaper than MT in DraftKings and is someone whom has the same upside and ceiling. I’ve actually managed to create a team with both these monster WR’s. In a game where the o/u is 54 points, I’d like this to be a classic NFC South shootout.

Tight End:

Eric EbronDraftKings– $3,400. FanDuel– $5,500.

Eric Ebron is the only TightEnd, aside from one team with Kittle, I have on ALL MY DFS plays this week. I don’t care, I AM GOING AL IN. And no, I don’t feel good about it and I actually feel kinda sick. But facts are, he’s got a connection with Andrew Luck through these first two weeks. Ebron has 7 catches for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jack Doyle, ruled OUT for week 3, has 9 catches for 80 yards on the season. The Colts, led by Andrew Luck, have a chance to bring out the best in Eric Ebron; and it could start this week going up against an Eagles defense that just allowed OJ Howard to run wild.

That will do it for my week 3 NFL DFS plays, whether that be on Fanduel or DraftKings. Remember ladies and gents, gamble and play responsibly and most importantly, good luck!
